WASCO wishes to inform consumers that production at the Theobalds Treatment Facility and the Hill 20 Treatment Facility has been affected due to clogged intakes and high turbidity caused by heavy rainfall. As a result, customers from Millet to Cap Estate, including Babonneau will experience low pressure and temporary supply interruptions.
Remedial works will begin at the affected intakes when the areas have been marked safe. The water supply will be restored upon completion of these works. Customers at high elevations and at the end of the network will experience a delay as the network recharges.
An update will be provided within the next 24 to 36 hours. WASCO apologizes for the inconvenience caused to its valued customers. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
