WASCO wishes to inform the general and motoring public that urgent line repairs are currently underway at Waterworks Road, Castries. To facilitate these works, the water supply to the following areas will be temporarily interrupted: City of Castries, Lower Entrepôt, Lower Bocage, Lower Ravine Chabot, Lower Cedars, Waterworks Road, Leslie Land, Lastic Hill, Patterson’s Gap, Lower Rose Hill, Lower Morne Du Don, Peart’s Gap, New Village, Lower Lapansee, Georgeville, Calvary Road.
WASCO has requested the assistance of the police department to execute a road closure on Upper Waterworks Road to facilitate the planned works. Repairs are estimated to be completed within 12 hours.
The motoring public is encouraged to adhere to road traffic control measures throughout the course of these repairs and to take alternate routes where possible. WASCO apologizes to the public for the inconvenience that this will cause.
