The Water and Sewerage Company Inc. (WASCO) wishes to advise the public that rehabilitation works on two valve boxes will be undertaken along Sir Julian R. Hunte Highway on Saturday, August 1st and Sunday, August 2nd, 2026 from 8:00 a.m.

To facilitate these works, the southbound lane of the dual carriageway will be closed in two locations: 

1. Before the entrance to Sunny Acres and
2. Between City Gate Avenue and the former Avis Car Rental 

Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution and use alternative routes during this time. 

WASCO apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks the public for its patience and understanding as we carry out these essential repairs.
